Hi, I’m Monica Hurd, Mom of Five, Visionary, Worshipper, and Founder of Purpose Driven Network.

I’m so glad you’re here. If you’re wondering how Purpose Driven Network was born, allow me to share a piece of my heart and my journey.

​

For a long time, I looked like I had it all together; strong, resilient, responsible, and always showing up. I was the oldest child, the PK (preacher’s kid), the helper, the one everyone depended on. I learned early how to push through pain, silence my own needs, and hold everything together for everyone else. But life has a way of unraveling us just enough to reveal the truth of who we really are and who God is calling us to become.

My unraveling happened quietly, layer by layer. Through trauma. Through heartbreak. Through seasons of being overlooked, silenced, and misunderstood. Through moments where I had to give strength I didn’t even have. Through becoming a mother before I knew myself. Through losing love, finding it again, and learning how to heal in between. Through homelessness.
Through starting over. Through divorce. Through surviving abuse. Through building while broken and encouraging others while secretly feeling empty. But even in all of that, God never let go of me.

In 2017, after reading The Purpose Driven Life, God began to stir something in me. What started as a small book club with women who just needed a safe place to breathe became a movement I didn’t even know I was preparing for: Purpose Driven Network.

​

A space for women, men, youth, and families to heal, grow, and find God in their story again.

Not the perfect version of themselves. Not the strong version. Not the masked version. But the real version, the version I had spent years hiding. 

​

As I was pouring into others, God was rebuilding me. He was restoring my voice. He was teaching me resilience. He was shaping purpose out of every broken place. And He was preparing me to lead a global movement long before I ever called myself a leader. 

 

Today, I’m a mom of five amazing children, a worshipper who lives to be in God’s presence, a creative, an author, a survivor, and a woman determined to help others live the life God intended; healed, whole, aligned, and purpose-driven.

Purpose Driven Network exists because I lived through what happens when purpose is buried and I’m living proof of what happens when God brings it back to life.

​
